Glimpse Into a Marriage

Most little girls dream of meeting a nice guy who will share life with them, have children, and live a long and happy life. They dream of the love that is unconditional and will stand the tests of time. I, myself, leave that up to the powers that be and focus on what is in my here and now because that's overwhelming enough in these times.

Some say that the love is gone in marital relationships being that we have a 50/50 shot of getting it right. However, of those couples who actually do stand on the right side of the fifty percent (50%), like Danny and Annie in this StoryCorps Short, are the most fortunate ones, in love.

StoryCorps Short: Danny and Annie, to me, expressed how precious love is when it is mutually received and the innocence of it when it is lived each and every day as an important addition to the existence of life and thereafter.
