I love hiking and having the opportunity to see a waterfall at the end is extra exciting. The hike in Nojoqui Falls Park is reported to be 20 minutes long, round trip, but I felt like I walked faster than that. However, if you like to take your time and stroll, this is a nice hike for you too. Regardless, it's a great park to hang out for the day and take in the views of birds, and squirrels. It was cloudy and cool, June gloom, but perfect for an early morning hike. If you're ever in Solvang, California stop by Nojoqui Falls Park and enjoy some time in nature. There were couples and families with children walking along the path to the waterfall. It's a nice experience for all ages. Be careful of the ground as you walk closer to the waterfall due to debris from tree branches and slippery sections due to rainwater but the path was clear and safe when I went.

Installing a Honeywell T2 Non-Programmable Thermostat for the Home

Summer days are upon us and I decided to replace my old thermostat with a simpler one from Honeywell. I didn't want a thermostat with too many bells and whistles, but one that focused on heating and cooling aspects. 

The Honeywell T2 Non-Programmable Thermostat can switch automatically between cooling and heating depending on the temperature in your home. This setting can be switched on or off at your discretion. I found the installation process to be easy and straightforward but the instruction guide provides advanced setup information if your home thermostat system is more complex.
