#Vlog: Lion Habitat Ranch Sanctuary Near Las Vegas in Nevada #Lions

While in Las Vegas, Nevada, I had the opportunity to visit the Lion Habitat Ranch. The ranch is a sanctuary for lions and some other animals, including a giraffe! When you visit the sanctuary you will learn many facts about lions, how they would live in their natural habitat, and get pretty close. There are volunteers and many other workers who keep the grounds of the sanctuary in tip top shape. During my visit, I saw how relaxed the lions looked and how they interacted very well during treat-feeding times.

In my video blog below, I share an inside look at my visit to the Lion Habitat Ranch. The next time you are in Las Vegas, take the 22-minute drive to Henderson, Nevada, and enjoy this cool attraction. There is more to see and enjoy in Las Vegas than the casinos! Visit the Lion Habitat Ranch to purchase your tickets and donate here.

Focus on the Small Details in God's Instructions To You | #Sunday Story Time #VLOG Episode 85 #WhenCalledToServeGod

Hello! I hope you have been well. Here is your Sunday Story Time With God Episode 85. Today we will learn that God expects for us to pay attention to the small details in His instructions to us

When we find ourselves feeling stagnant or limited it may be because God is trying to get our attention. He wants for us to come to Him in prayer or listen to the small details in His plan for our lives. If you feel that God is leading you to do something for someone or the people in your community, you can be assured that he will expect nothing but the best performance from you. He will also expect for you to follow his instructions very carefully and not take shortcuts like Ithamar's brothers, Nadab and Abihu.

We must also remember to thank God for using us to be an example of His love, grace, and mercy. Many times we lose our connection with God when we get busy with our everyday rustle and bustle. However, we are representative of Christ each and every day, so we must thank God and also pay attention to His detailed instructions when He calls us to serve.

Today devotional message is being read from The One Year: Life Lessons from The Bible

Read all about Ithamar's life and his ministry in the Bible from Exodus 6:23; 28:1; 38:21

Names Are Important to God | #Sunday Story Time #VLOG Episode 82 #MyNameIs

Hello! How are you? I had some technical difficulties on Sunday but God worked them out. He is always on time with the message that he has for us. Today we will learn how God reaffirms his promise to us all the time. An example is through the meaning of birth-names in the Bible. Many of the people in the Bible were named by God via messenger from an angel of God...Jesus Christ, Ishmael (son of Hagar), and also Isaac (son of Abraham and Sarah) who we discuss today. His name means "Laughter". Do you know what your name mean? Share the meaning in the comments below.

In many parts of the world, your name provides lots of insight into your culture, ancestry, and adds to your character. That's why it's also important to watch how we use words in our name-calling. It can be a sword that harms if we're not careful. It is also pretty cool to ask God to lead you to the perfect baby name for your child. I have heard some odd names for babies...LOL...

Welcome to this Sunday's Story Time With God Episode 82! [Watch the full video below]

Explore Isaac's story in the Bible from
Genesis Chapter 17:15-35:29
and he is mentioned in
Romans 9:7-10
Hebrews 11:17-20
James 2:21-24

Video: How To Make Cranberry Sauce #Cooking #Vlog

Do you like cranberry sauce with your holiday dinner? If so, learn how to make cranberry sauce at home and get compliments from your guests. All you need is three (3) ingredients, a saucepan, and a large spoon for stirring. In the following video below, I share the how-to steps. You can make it fast and refrigerate it just in time for dinner or have it warm. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Ingredients you will need:
12oz. bag of fresh Cranberries
1 cup of orange juice
1 cup of sugar (use your favorite)

Instructions:
1. Add washed cranberries to a saucepan over high heat to start.

2. Then stir in the orange juice and sugar.

3. Let the mixture come to a boil and the cranberries will start to pop like popcorn. Keep stirring the sauce off and on. Do not leave it unattended.

4. Reduce your heat to medium-high or simmer and let cook down. I let my sauce cook down until it becomes a nice thick jelly consistency (see video). However, you can remove it from the stove earlier.

5. Transfer to a serving bowl and refrigerate or serve warm. This part is up to you.

Serves 6-8.

Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Give Up Control and Trust God's Final Outcome | #Sunday Story Time #VLOG Episode 73

Happy Monday! I know, you read that right...I am sharing with you Sunday's Story Time With God, Episode 73, a bit later than usual. We will learn in this week's Jesus Calling devotional message that we should give up control and trust that God will lead us to the best outcome. I like to practice what I "preach" so-to-speak, and this was a great example of trusting that God would work things out. I hope you enjoy it and it helps you to trust God in your own situations, circumstances, and plans. He'll never steer you wrong and there's no guessing required when you free-fall with Him over your shoulder.
