Hello! How are you? I had some technical difficulties on Sunday but God worked them out. He is always on time with the message that he has for us. Today we will learn how God reaffirms his promise to us all the time. An example is through the meaning of birth-names in the Bible. Many of the people in the Bible were named by God via messenger from an angel of God...Jesus Christ, Ishmael (son of Hagar), and also Isaac (son of Abraham and Sarah) who we discuss today. His name means "Laughter". Do you know what your name mean? Share the meaning in the comments below. In many parts of the world, your name provides lots of insight into your culture, ancestry, and adds to your character. That's why it's also important to watch how we use words in our name-calling. It can be a sword that harms if we're not careful. It is also pretty cool to ask God to lead you to the perfect baby name for your child. I have heard some odd names for babies...LOL... Welcome to this Sunday's Story Time With God Episode 82! [Watch the full video below]

Sometimes you may feel like God is far away and not listening to your call or your prayers, but he is indeed always listening. He never leaves you. When we get impatient, have doubt, or a lack of faith, we move away from God and attempt to do things or solve things on our own. God gives us choice and with that choice comes consequences for our actions. However, no matter what, God is there to welcome us back into the flock when we return with a heart of repentance. Today in this Story Time With God Episode 64, we will learn more about how much God is available to us and wants us to know this. We will be reading from the daily devotional, Jesus Calling by Sarah Young for September 10, 2017. If you have your copy and your Bible follow along with me in the video below.

In this Sunday Time With God Episode 23, we will learn about the Bible Story of David and Goliath, but also how God uses David once he prunes him into the boy that he needed him to be.
David didn't realize that his time in Bethlehem, tending to his father's (Jesse) sheep and protecting them, would lead to saving his people of Israel. God had to work on David's character, his level of Faith, develop his Trust, and make sure that when times got difficult that he knew who to turn to in Prayer. He did all this when David was just a boy!If God can prune a child into a young man of God, how much do you think He desires to do the same for us? When we feel like we are the underdog going into a situation, God wants us to know that He is willing and able to lead us. God wants to lead us to the resolutions we seek, to the solution that will not only benefit us but those around us, showing learning examples of His Grace and Mercy.
In the following video, I go into more detail surrounding this story of David:
