My Outing to VegFest 2017 in Los Angeles #Vlog #VeganFestival

Selena Thinking Out Loud attended VegFest 2017, a vegan festival with food, LIVE bands, food demonstrations, discussion panels, health and wellness, and lots for the kids to do. It was a great way to get informed about living a vegan lifestyle without all of the hype, stigma, and misinformation.

Personally, I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle last year, after being a vegetarian for about 14 years. So it was good to get lots of information on products, foods, and other vegans' experiences. Initially, I thought that I would miss ice cream and cheese, which were my only "big 2", but I found that it was actually not a big deal at all.

Happy Veterans Day! It's Showtime for the stage play, Hurry Up and Wait at The Lee Strasberg Institute.

I am an Army Veteran who is grateful to have served my country and have the opportunity to bring awareness to this issue of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) that burdens our servicemen and women, by performing in this stage play, opening on Veterans Day 2016.

The Rise of the Jack O' Lanterns Fall 2015 Event - Video Recap

This past week, I had the opportunity to see over 5,000 carved pumpkins and Jack O' Lanterns, at The Rise of the Jack O' Lanterns Fall Event! 

It is held in New York, Los Angeles, and San Diego. I did hear that they will be bringing it to many more cities in the future. I went to see it at the Descanso Garden in La Cañada Flintridge, CA. 

I also heard a nice brief overview from one of the pumpkin sculptors, when you first enter onto the trail. He was finishing up another pumpkin carving. So awesome!

To get into the Halloween swing of things I decided to attend this family-fun event! There were people of all ages really enjoying themselves. So, the kids will have fun too. You'll see why in my video recap below.
