Welcome to another Story Time Sunday, Time With God, Episode #32! Today I was reminded to Focus My Mind on Christ. 

In this week's video blog, I was reading from the daily devotional message for January 29, 2017, in Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence by Sarah Young. I realized that just like anything that we desire to learn in greater detail, we must keep reviewing the older lessons too. As Christ continues to strengthen our walk with Him, he wants us to cast all of our cares on him and bring every thought we have to Him. He has made us into his perfect image and given us access to Him for constant peace and protection.

This or That? Revlon UnTamed or UnInhibited #NailPolish Colors and #Review

Let's play, "This or That?" How can a lady decide! I picked up two new Revlon nail polishes while shopping at Walmart because I think I was a bit bored, when it came to wanting to polish my nails. However, when I saw the nail polish aisle in Walmart, I immediately started to perk up and saw that Revlon made nail polishes too! I may be late with this discovery but I just had to try some of the colors. 

Since it's still "winter", I decided to buy a dark color with gold confetti called "UnTamed".

I really enjoy the rain because it cleanses, encourages growth, and for many people, it's a nice day to stay in and cozy up with a good book, movie, sleep in, and for me, go deeper into today's daily devotional message in Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence. In Episode 31 for January 22nd, I share today's Sunday devotional message on Striving to Trust Christ. I love how Jesus leads her to compare trust to a staff that you hold on to for support.

#Vlog: Errands and Eating Ethiopian #VeganFood

I had a pretty nice Thursday. I did my morning workout, then made my oatmeal with a piece of toast, and read my daily devotional, Jesus Calling. 

I then had to get ready to run some errands and I discovered an Ethiopian Vegan restaurant here in Los Angeles, CA. So I decided to vlog about my day and share the information about this vegan restaurant, Azla. They also carry vegan cupcakes made by Clara Cakes.

Happy Sunday! I hope you're enjoying your holiday, MLK, weekend. In this Sunday Time With God, Episode 30, I learn and share with you how Christ wants us to focus on Him and seek His Face for our security. 

We all have responsibilities and jobs that need to get done, including paying our bills, and making sure that we stay healthy and well-informed about what's going on around us. However, when the going get tough and we just "don't know how to deal" with certain road-blocks and issues in our lives, we have Christ available who is always shining His Face upon us. That is how the Lord opens His message today for January 15, in Sarah Young's Daily Devotional, Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence. He lets us know that we should always seek His Face, seek Him for guidance, for peace of mind, and for security, then He will direct our path.

#Vlog: Went to See Interactive! The Exhibition at the Ronald Reagan Library #BlastfromthePast

Recently, I decided to drive up to Simi Valley, CA to attend Interactive! The Exhibition at The Ronald Reagan Library and Museum. It started off as a rainy morning but once I parked my car and started to head into the library, the sun peaked out from the clouds. That was pretty nice to see. It was a busy day and many people had the same idea as me, to come, spend the day, doing some interactive, hands-on, fun, activities. I had the opportunity to vlog many of my experiences while at the exhibition but there was SO much more to do and see, that I couldn't capture every single thing. So, if you're looking for something that all ages will enjoy, I recommend attending Interactive! The Exhibition while it's still at The Ronald Reagan Library and Museum. Here's all the information on the website and I highly recommend that you pre-purchase your tickets before going. They sell out fast for different time slots to enter the exhibition!



I also walked through the Ronald Reagan Library and Museum after the exhibition and that was even more eye-opening and enjoyable. You'll definitely want to get lunch while you're there too. I was hungry after seeing and doing everything. Here's some additional pics of what other things you can do...walk aboard the Airforce One that President Ronald Reagan used, the helicopter, and more!

I hope you're having a blessed Sunday! In this Sunday Time With God, Episode 29, I will be continuing to work through the Daily Devotional for 2017, Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence by Sarah Young. I have been enjoying the devotionals during this first week of January and have stayed consistent and disciplined to learn even more about Christ. Today's devotional for January 8, talks about how Christ announces His Presence to us. Christ is SO gentle with us when we need it most. Thank you Lord for that!
