We were created with a homesickness for the eternal reality of a place beyond our wildest dreams. As the old hymn explains, "This world is not my home." Heaven is our heart's home, where the homecoming party goes on and on and on. But it's also a place of "no more"--no more tears, grief, loss, or death. "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away" (Revelation 21:4)"You're not really ready to live until you're ready to die."
Today's Challenge: Imagine how different your life would be if you always kept an accurate view of eternity before you. Go ahead. Paint a picture of your hypothetical daily experience in some detail.
