BzzAgent Unboxing Product Review for Secret Clear Gel OUTLAST Deodorant
Wow! That's what I said to myself when I first read the front of this Secret deodorant bottle. 48 hours! That's a long time for a deodorant to work. It also talked about leaving no white mark residue, which is also VERY important, so I was definitely curious to try it out.

I tried the Secret Clear Gel OUTLAST deodorant with the Completely Clean scent. It had a pleasant smell when I popped open the top and the solid was indeed clear gel. After taking a shower, I applied the deodorant and could feel it creating a barrier in my armpits. It felt like my armpits were being sealed to avoid any moisture, but it wasn't sticky or anything but I could feel the barrier of protection. I had SO many things to get done, from boxing items for shipment, to yoga class, to working on editing tasks, etc, so this solid really worked when I felt myself getting anxious. I found myself checking my armpits throughout the day, after yoga class, etc, and it was still working, while I was lifting, sealing, and labeling boxes to mail. I also never noticed any white streaks on my camisoles or blouses so that's a plus.

I have used other brands of Secret in the past, so they already had a great track record with me, but I really like this deodorant. Sometimes, with other solids, I do have to reapply deodorant or sometimes wonder if I even applied any because I don't notice it there or working at all. So, I can say that it does it's job and since I did work like I was running a 48 hour marathon, I would have to say that this solid does work well under pressure. It did keep me well-protected and with my busy schedule, moving around this town, it stood up to my schedule.

Overall, I would recommend Secret Clear Gel OUTLAST deodorant. I would also purchase it again if it is reasonably priced and available in my regularly-shopped stores. Grade A

My Tone Petal Soft Pink Peony and Rose Oil Body Wash Review




I was actually familiar with Tone bar soaps and their body washes before this BzzAgent campaign, but I always purchased their Cocoa Butter Tone bar soap and sometimes the body wash. Personally, I am not really a flowery, mega perfume-type chick, but I thought that I would give this new scented body wash a try anyway. Maybe, I would surprisingly like it, you know? 

First off, you do not need a lot of this body wash to get a good lather for your body. You only need about a tsp or tablespoon on your bath sponge or wash cloth. I used a wash cloth. This particular one, had a pinkish, pearl-like look as it went on my wash cloth and I could smell the strong scent of the product. 

As I washed my arms, then the rest of my body, I could feel my skin becoming softer and softer. It felt as if it was moisturizing my skin while under the water and using the product simultaneously. If you're into getting spa-treatments or going to the spa to relax in a full-body mud bath or anything of that nature, this Tone product put me in that atmosphere, without leaving the comfort of my home. 

I read that the goal of this product was to give you a spa-life feeling and I sincerly have to agree with that advertisement. Any other day, I would have never thought to pick up this scent of Tone, but having the opportunity to try it has really changed my mind and outlook, so I am thoroughly impressed. The smell of this product became milder after I rinsed it off my skin and dried off after the shower, which I was happy about. I could smell the scent of the pink peony and rose oil in my arms. 

My skin was so moisturized and soft that I didn't have to put on any other oils or lotions because I was good to go and ready to get dressed for my day. Being someone who is health-conscious, but a bit of a tomboy too, I believe that looking and feeling good goes hand in hand from the inside out. This product definitely adds to my lifestyle of living healthy, while looking and feeling great too. I give this Tone Petal Soft Pink Peony and Rose Oil a Grade A.

Being a military veteran, I was a late bloomer when it came to shaving. I know, what lady wouldn't shave right, but it is more common than you think. However, after serving in the U.S Army, I finally tried shaving and my experiences were mixed. I have sensitive skin and have tried to look for razors that would protect my skin but do the job well. So, when I had the opportunity to review Schick HYDRO Silk razor, I was all ears.

My Schick HYDRO Silk Sensitive Care Razor Product Review

Shaving can definitely be a scary experience, when you're not using a reliable brand razor. I have used many different brands, at different prices, but I must admit that this razor is amazing. I put the razor under water to activate the moisturizing serum like the packaging stated. Then I started shaving. I have to say that I didn't feel a thing. While I was shaving, I wondered if it was even removing the hair on my legs, but after rinsing away the Skintimate shaving cream, I was SO impressed. The hair was gone, I didn't have any nicks or cuts, it didn't feel like a traumatic experience at all. I normally use disposable razors, so using this refillable HYDRO Silk razor was new for me. The gel that came from the head of the razor spread across my legs while I shaved and I could actually see it doing its job. It actually performed like advertised on the Schick website. It also worked very nicely with the thick, rich, Skintimate shaving cream for Dry Skin.

Speaking of the Skintimate shaving cream for Dry Skin, I received a Free Coupon as a BzzAgent, to try it too, up to $3.79. This shaving cream was nice and thick, while providing an extra barrier of protection on my legs, while I shaved. I have purchased Skintimate before and will definitely make sure to purchase it again in the future. 

Overall, I had a fantastic shaving experience. I am now a refillable razor chick! The Schick HYDRO Silk Sensitive Care Razor gets a Grade: A, for awesome performance. I will be using it for many days to comes.

As a woman, it can be a challenge to find products that compliment our body types. We strive to look our best as wives, girlfriends, moms, and even single, independent, women. When a great product comes along to make our lives a little easier, I have no problem with sharing the good news.

I'm the kind of lady who watches what she eats and that's not because I want to stay looking good in my skinny jeans. I do enjoy food, you know. As I've gotten older I realize that my body isn't taking any mess from me, when it comes to binge-eating with cheese pizza, french fries, and sea salt kettle-cooked potato chips. Those escapades are sadly over. Even during the holidays when most Americans find themselves binge eating, I keep it very conservative. So, when I had the opportunity to review, for free, some of Kroger's Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organic, I had to jump on it!

According to Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organic products, they are: open, honest and affordable foods that represent the joy of eating closer to the way nature intended. Making better food choices just got a whole lot simpler with clean packaging and easy-to-understand ingredient statement that take the chore out of selecting organic, "free from 101+ artificial preservatives and ingredients" and natural foods.

My Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organic Products Review

I'm a cereal monster. I love trying new healthy choices, that gives me the vitamins and minerals I need with a touch of sweet goodness. So, I was anxious to try Simple Truth Sweet Nut Cluster & Flake Granola cereal. 

It was very tasty with texture, I realized from the start. I liked that the flakes, the granola, almonds and nuts were noticeable in my bowl. The flakes and granola were huge morsels. You could see that they weren't skimpy on the product and with every bite I could taste the sweetness of the granola the the bite of the nuts. 

I would definitely buy this cereal again, if the price is as reasonable in Ralphs, as advertised. Cereal prices are definitely highly-priced these days, when it comes to the cereals that are actually good for you, as I have noticed. However, I am open to purchasing this product. I give this cereal two thumbs up and a Grade: A.

Who's loves popcorn? I LOVE popcorn. I can eat it anytime of day and not just at the movies, either. It's light, airy, fluffy, and a great snack in between meals for me. I also like a touch of seasoning to bring out the popcorn flavor. These are all the qualities I loved about Simple Truth Organic White Cheddar Popcorn. I ate this bag of popcorn while watching my Netflix movies, working on my business plan, and just as a midday break from working from home. I couldn't get enough of it. The white cheddar didn't drown out the popcorn and that is definitely a plus for those of you who are watching your figure. I would purchase this product again and give it a Grade: A.


The final product that I had the opportunity to review for free was the Simple Truth Flavored Blackberry Blueberry Vapor Distilled Water and Electrolytes. I thought at first glance that this would be a carbonated, flavored, water, which is normally how I see it in grocery stores. However, it was water with a touch of flavoring. I also heard from another person that electrolytes help the water absorb into the body much better. 

This product tastes like you're drinking regular water and you finally get the taste of the blackberry and blueberry, during the after taste of the experience. I don't usually make a big deal out of my water drinking. I normally drink purified water and call it a day. So, with that said, the product is okay, but not for me. I don't understand the reasoning behind the flavoring in regular water, for this product. I know that some people have a difficult time drinking enough, plain, water, but this product wouldn't satisfy that problem with it's flavoring, at least not with this particular flavor I tried. I wouldn't purchase this product as often. I give it a Grade: C.

MY BzzAgent Review: Redbox Instant by Verizon

Redbox Instant by Verizon is for movie streaming and renting or buying DVD/BluRay movies, like Netflix! 

It has a lot of New Releases you can reserve at a RedBox kiosk for Pickup, Renting per night, or even Buying them if you would like. I tend to stream movies a lot since I work from home during the week. It's just more convenient for me. The variety of movies to stream on your PC, Xbox, Wii, etc, seem to be more older films, but the 4 free credits you get, a month, for Free New Releases make up for that. 

If you're currently with Netflix, like myself, you know that getting tangible DVDs in the mail, requires an additional upgrade, so I think Redbox Instant by Verizon, has a leg up on Netflix as far as options for the price of $8.00 per month. I used my 4 Free Credits towards New Releases (1 Credit = 1 Free Night on a DVD or BluRay (you can set up your credits for BluRays in your 'My Account' section of the website)). One of the movies was TheCall with Halle Berry and it was a good movie. I was able to read other people's reviews on the film, on the Redbox Instant website before I reserved it with my credits. I also ended up writing my own review as well, which you can do also.

The only gripe I have about Redbox Instant, with regards to streaming movies, is the movie viewing window. It doesn't conform to the browser, when minimized down to a smaller size, like with Netflix. When I work from home, I like to work on one side of the screen and then have a movie going on the other. The viewing window is cut off if I try to narrow my browsing window. That's the only thing that bothers me about the movie streaming on my PC. I mean, not everyone stops everything to only watch a movie these days.

My free month of Redbox Instant by Verizon ends on January 3rd and I'm still thinking whether or not I want to keep it. I do like the 4 Free Credits I get per month for New Releases at their kiosk machines, but I probably wouldn't be using the streaming too much unless they change their viewing window setup on their site. I also can buy New Releases to stream from my PC or rent at their kiosk but I guess I'm thinking about the long-term value of the $8.00 per month. I'm still up in the air.

My Overall grade for Redbox Instant by Verizon is a 'B'. Netflix is still my first choice for streaming movies. However, I would recommend Redbox for renting New Releases from the kiosk machine with the 4 Free Night Credits a month on the membership, or without by purchasing them as rentals. I like getting my DVDs immediately instead of waiting for them to come in the mail and having to mail them back.

My Review and Video

I wore the Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles in a pair of my high heel shoes to go get food for my cats and to do some market shopping. I did a lot of walking and really got the chance to see how these insoles felt on my feet. I did like the arch support and they have added protection for the balls of your feet. However, the comfort-ability of the insoles, for me, wasn't that great. After walking so much and going about my regular business, I felt the pressure on my feet with the insoles in my shoes and wanted to go home and slip into my booty socks. I like what Dr. Scholl's is trying to do with the insoles, but I guess for me, "this lady is still in the line of women who have to bare the discomfort that comes with looking fabulous in high heels.
