Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Mascara and Gentle Eye Makeup Remover #ProductReview

Selena Thinking Out Loud With Purpose had the opportunity to test Rimmel London's Scandaleyes Waterproof Mascara and their Gentle Eye Makeup Remover in the Influenster Frosty Voxbox. Below you will find my personal review of both products.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Mascara

Overall, the Rimmel London Scandaleyes waterproof mascara held up nicely all day and night. It never smeared or broke down. It glides on smooth and nice. I was happy with it, but I can say that the only issue I had with it, was when I went to take it off. I used the Rimmel London Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, on a cotton ball, to remove the waterproof mascara, but it didn't want to come off. It smeared a lot, so I ended up using my makeup remover aloe towelettes to remove the product. It made me think a little more about using it again, but it looked great on my eyes and was indeed waterproof. I think I needed a stronger eye makeup remover for this product. Rimmel London Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

As for the Rimmel London Gentle Eye makeup remover, it didn't work very well for me with the Rimmel London Scandaleyes waterproof mascara. I used this product with cotton balls and found myself having to really soak my eye area with it and rub a number of times, which I don't like doing around my eyes. It smeared the waterproof mascara a lot and so I had to return to my usual aloe makeup remover towelettes. I would most likely use this product with my non-waterproof eye makeup and I would not recommend it for waterproof makeup.

Of the two products I tested, I would purchase the Scandaleyes mascara again. However, only if I can find a compatible eye makeup remover for this waterproof mascara because it definitely performed as advertised.
